I am an Aunt!

Thanks to everyone who has sent their well wishes to my sister and her family.

Day four now and the baby is doing great. Everyone else? Well, we are all a bit, ok a lot, sleep deprived. I had forgotten how hard these newborn days were, my memories of my boys have mostly left me. Probably a coping device so I would keep forging ahead, lol.

Though, not too tired to get out my camera! Of course I had to take photos.     :)

So please let me introduce to you Gabriel Layne, weighing in at about 7 lbs. 13oz. (though probably now 10 lbs they way he has been eating!). Oh and I affectionately call him "ANGRY BABY"-- for he can go from a heavy sleep to a full-out wail in the blink of an eye.  He is definitely going to keep his parents on their toes!

Oh and on a business note, I will get all emails and phone calls returned when I return to Ohio in a few days.

What fabulous photos of your new nephew. He is such a cutie pie. It makes me tired just to think about those first months with an infant and how one actually goes on such sporadic sleep. Congrats to the new addition to your family.
