Having a little trouble blogging tonight...
As a Photographer, I have the rare opportunity to be a part of my clients' lives, kind of a silent family member, there for all the important milestones. That is where I started with this family, with their maternity photos, newborn photos and now tonight, some family photos. And I am hoping, that even though they are moving several hours away, I can continue to capture the joy and laughter of their family.

This family has a neat story. Mom and Dad are High School Sweethearts. I think she said they have been together since they were 14! Wow!
Clearly their long-standing love for each other has transcended to their beautiful new baby girl. I love the look of adoration they are showing here.

...when you have a daughter as beautiful as this? While I love a good smile too, sometimes it is just as good to let them show us who they are.
I was fortunate to photograph her as newborn, incorporating her mommy's wedding veil into the session.
And then this evening, a bit over a year later, again with the wedding veil.
And of course, I would never leave a session without a smile... did you think we didn't get any?
Not much of a creative title today lol. Had a super busy weekend with lots to post. It is going to take me a few days to get it all on the blog.
For now you get to look at this beautiful model in the making. Her mom need some new images for her Zed Card. We had fun, can't wait for our full outdoor shoot!

Sometimes, it is the everyday things that are fun to capture!

And then, we start all over again with eating non-food items~
And from what I hear, nap time came shortly after I left :)
Holding this lil one was like holding a small stuffed animal. She felt so tiny, but then again, my youngest weighs 30 lbs so I am used to lugging around a lot more weight.
And, I think this is the first newborn I have evern seen with such beautifully long eyelashes. Amazing huh?
Her parents were so sweet,totally in love with her!
And for about ten minutes she slept wonderfully!
I joked with the parents about showing outtakes... And when I saw this one I knew I had to post it. Looks like she is saying "Hey! I am nakey, put that camera away!"
